ACRAA works tirelessly to restore the forest and strengthen traditional communities from Lower Tapajós. Since 2020, we have planted over 1,000 native trees in degraded areas and donated hundreds of fruit seedlings to the Borari and Munduruku peoples, promoting food security and sustainable agroforestry. Our nurseries carefully cultivate selected species—from riparian forest trees to medicinal plants—always in dialogue with Indigenous traditional knowledge.
Beyond reforestation, we bring environmental education to public and Indigenous schools, where we engage over 100 students per year in hands-on cultivation and conservation activites. Through partnerships with universities, Indigenous associations, and local organizations, we empower communities to live in harmony with the forest, blending ancestral wisdom with modern ecological restoration techniques.
